Farming method: Grapes are sourced from dry-farmed, old-vine vineyards in Mendocino County. These vineyards are practicing organic, The grape varieties are cultivated in Yokayo sandy loam soils, enhancing the wine’s complexity.
Tasting notes: Aromas of cocoa powder, black plum, forest floor, and allspice. Flavors range from blueberry fruit, deep dark cherry, and red licorice. The finish has medium tannins with a dry, juicy finish. Fun fact: Featured on the label is a fictional character, Dr. Steve Brule, played by John C. Reilly from the comedy television series ‘Check it Out!.’
