Grape: A blend of Prugnolo Gentile/Canaiolo Nero/Mammolo. Prugnole Gentile is a variant of Sangiovese in and around Montepulciano and is the majority of the blend. (A minimum of 70% Sangiovese for DOC Montepulicano is required by law.)

In the cellar: The wine is aged in botti, Solvenian oak casks, for two to three years before release. (Dora’s younger Rosso di Montepulciano is aged for only one year to create a lighter expression than the Vino Nobile.)

Tasting notes: A deep expression of fruit with notes of dark cherry, leather, chocolate and forest floor.
