In the cellar: Unoaked, aged in stainless steel. Vines are around 60 years old, maintained by Massal selection, which is a vineyard management technique where dead or under-performing vines are replaced with new vines grown from cuttings from the best older vines in the vineyard. 
Farming method: Sustainable
Tasting notes: A ruby red, vibrant Montepulciano with earthy minerality, hints of chocolate and cigar box, and a touch of tannic grip on the finish. Pair with bolognese!
