Region: Alsace, France; the Kientzler domaine is a fifth generation family-run estate spread out over the villages of Ribeauvillé, Bergheim, Hunawihr and Riquewihr. 
In the cellar: This was fermented and aged in stainless steel; production is about 6,000 cases per year. 
Farming method: Organic; The vineyard consists of 13.8 hectares of vines, of which 4.4 hectares are classified Grand Cru. Riesling and Gewürztraminer make up about half of the family’s vineyards, and five other varieties
Tasting notes: A classic Gewürz with floral aromatics and a semi-sweet finish full of spicy notes of ginger, lychee, and apricot. Drink within 5 years to preserve all freshness and fruit on the palate.
