Producer: Husband and wife winemaking team, Carl and Petra Ehrhard; the label is a drawing made by a friend of Carl and Petra, and features Petra, with their three daughters in the background of mom’s cocktail hour. Petra was a fashion designer before entering the world of wine, hence the sassy suit. 
Region: Rheingau, Germany
In the cellar: As with all of Carl’s wines, fermentation takes place spontaneously and naturally from ambient yeasts
Farming method: Organic
Tasting notes: Dry, medium bodied. Notes of a little funk, and full of wild spice and bright stone fruit. Can classify as an ‘orange’ wine because of extended grape skin contact with the juice!
