Size: 750ml
Grape: 55% Pinot Noir, 35% Gamay and 10% Côt (Malbec)
Producer: Philippe and Simon Tessier
Region: Loire Valley, France located in the heart of the Cheverny and Cour Cheverny AOC
In the cellar: Wild yeasts and aging in old barrels with minimal or zero SO2 added, bottled unfiltered.
Farming method: Biodynamic; vines come from the youngest vines on the 23 hectare estate, which are planted on sandy clay soils
Tasting notes: The wine shows bright cherry and plum notes with an edge of rose and orange rind. The palate is round and velvet with chalky and mineral driven flavors, ending with a pop of bright acidity. Absolutely delicious and a favorite year after year.
