In the cellar: Premier and grand cru wines see about 15% new wood in the form of large 450 and 600 L barrels, which offsets any overt “oakiness.” The rest is fermented in small stainless steel tank. 
Farming method: Organic
Tasting notes: Billaud works with east-facing vines on the left side of this Grand Cru. Bright lemon yellow in color and aromas of citrus, smoke and spicy oak. Powerful and harmonious length, with a slight citrus peel note on finish.
