Grape:  77% Cabernet Sauvignon and 23% Merlot (this is the 2nd wine of Château Saint-Pierre) 
Producer: Created in the 17th century, this 4th Grand Cru Classé was reconstructed by Henri Martin in 1982, as it had originally been in 1855, the year of the famous classification. Today, Saint-Pierre is recognized by all as being a perfect representative of the Grands Crus Classés of Saint-Julien.
Region: Saint-Julien, Bordeaux, France
In the cellar: Aged in oak for 14-16 months
Farming method: Organic farming; average vine age is 60 years old
Tasting notes: Opens with fragrant notes of black plums, lilacs, and dates. Medium-bodied with chewy tannins and a springy finish with an herbal twist.
