Producer of marzipan and other confectionary, Niederegger, was established in Lübeck, Germany in 1806. Founder Johann Georg Niederegger was known for adding less sugar to his marzipan to highlight the almond flavor, and by the company's 50th anniversary, Niederegger marzipan was the choice of royalty across Europe. We certainly agree with the queens and czars that this marzipan, enrobed in dark chocolate, is awesome. Give these bars as a gift, stuff into a stocking, or nosh solo by a crackling fire.
