Producer: The winery was founded in 1877 by Rafael López de Heredia y Landeta, great-grandfather of the current owners. Maria José Lopez de Heredia is the fourth generation winemaker.

In the cellar: Aged for 12 months in 90% French oak barrels, 10% American oak. 
Farming method: Organic; On average, vines are 45 years old, organically farmed, terroir-driven, and released 5-10 years after bottling, per Rioja tradition.
Tasting notes: Aromas of thyme, lemon peel, dried apricots, wax and cedar. Structured, layered, complex and unique. A memorable white wine experience.
