Producer: Owner of Kumusha, Tinashe Nyamudoka, was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, and moved to Cape Town in early 2008 to pursue a career in hospitality and gastronomy.
In the Cellar: After destemming, the berries were added to open top concrete fermenters. Towards the end of fermentation, the tank was drained and pressed into another concrete tank where the wine finished fermentation in a combination of oak barrels and concrete vessels.
Farming Method: Sustainable farming with grapes sourced from 4-hectare vineyard called Opstal in Western Cape at 300 meters above sea level.
Tasting Notes: A bright, fresh Cab with notes of sour red cherry and a bit of brambly and autumn leaves finish.
