The producers of Robiola Due Latte, Caseificio dell’Alta Langa, have been making cheese since 1881 in Langhe, a region on the eastern side of the Piedmont. They work closely with farmers in the area to obtain high quality milk for their cow, sheep, and goat cheeses. Robiola Due Latte is a silky, smooth, sheep and cow’s milk cheese perfect for shmearing. It has a tender, edible rind and a velvety smooth interior. This square softie looks great on a cheeseboard, and because of its mild, buttery, fresh mushroom flavor, it is easy to love. With a glass of Prosecco in one hand, and a cracker with a substantial piece of Robiola Due Latte in the other, suddenly life becomes a whole lot sweeter.
