Beer and cheddar are a classic combination, so it’s no surprise that mixed together, they make a satisfying and tasty fondue! We combine two different cheddars to achieve sweet sharpness and earthy creaminess. Together, they make a complex mix, which is enhanced by a touch of Wilde Weide, a gouda with a mild bite and flavors of brown butter and hazelnuts. Add in the yeastiness of the beer and this fondue is begging to be paired with breads of all kinds: bits of crusty white loaf, everything bagel, or whole wheat English muffin! Included in the kit are a jar of crunchy, tangy pickles and slices of salami to round out the meal.
