If you’re traveling in France, you will most likely come across this sandwich at a café, bakery or roadside stop. The French love a good baguette with ham and, wait for it, butter! Yes, as whacky as this sounds, it’s simple, quite delicious, and a French classic. If you’re not traveling through France anytime soon, this is something that you should whip up. Pour a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, put on Edith Piaf, and transport yourself to Paris, if only for the lunch hour. Because I was extra hungry, and having a sweet tooth attack, I added a little raspberry jam and Brie Fermier. The basis of this sandwich is open to many variations, so get creative, or keep it simple. Any way you slice it, literally, you will be thrilled to have this delicate but decadent number in your repertoire.
The amount of ingredients used for this sandwich are completely personal preference, and they are all readily available at our shop anytime. Enjoy!
