2018 Château Le Payral, Bergerac Rosé

Who: Thierry and Isabelle Daulhiac

What: Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot

Where: Southwest, France

How: Brief skin contact!

Farming Method: Biodynamic 

Fun Fact: Go to Southwest France if you want some along time; this region is one of the most sparsely populated in France with only 10 residents per square mile!

What It Tastes Like: Juicy dry goodness with notes of spice.


2018 Mas De Cynanque, Saint Chinian

Who: It’s a family affair but the real workers are the four sons Pascal,Rémi, Sylvain, and Simon who are as passionate about their family’s land as their parents.

What: Blend of Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache, and Carignan  

Where: Languedoc-Roussillon, France

How: Manual harvest with a bit of skin contact.

Farming Method: Organic

Fun Fact: The Languedoc-Roussillon produces more wine than any other region in France. It even produces more wine than the entirety of the United States!!

What It Tastes Like: Dry and delicious. This is minerality in a glass.


2018 Division, l'Avoiron, Rosé of Gamay Noir

Who: Kate Norris and Tom Monroe

What: Gamay

Where: Oregon, United States

How: Brief skin contact!

Farming Method: Organic

Fun Fact: Kate and Tom got the inspiration for this rose from the Gamay rosé they helped harvest during their internships in the Loire Valley.

What It Tastes Like: Bone dry with fresh raspberry and cherry notes. 


2015 Welsh Family Wines, Bjornson Vineyard

Who: Wendy and Dan Welsh

What: Pinot Noir

Where: Oregon, United States

How: Aged in French Oak barrels

Farming Method: Organic

Fun Fact: Americans drink more than 780 MILLION gallons of wine each year!!

What It Tastes Like: Smooth with juicy notes of pomegranate and blackberries.


2016 Domaine Réveille Ultraviolet

Who: France Crispeels

What: Syrah

Where: Languedoc-Roussillon, France 

How: Harvested by hand and fermented with native yeasts.

Farming Method: Biodynamic 

Fun Fact: Réveille means ‘rise’ in French, which is France Crispeel’s reference to the popularity of the natural wine movement!

What It Tastes Like: Like silk and tannins with notes of plum and earthiness.
