2017 Rezabal, Txakolí bianco (Basque Country, Spain)| What’s summer without Txakoli?? NOT summer. Rezabal is a 3rd generation family owned estate high up in the hillsides of Getaria in the Basque country of Spain. This dry white wine commences with slight bubbles, developing into a still white as it is aerated.Light color with slightly green hue. Aromas of intense fresh citrus, green apple, bright acidity and lower alcohol. Refreshing as hell and an August must have!
2017 Eric Kent Sauvignon Blanc Cuvée Renée (California, USA) | A hit every year – Kent Humphry’s Sauvignon Blanc is all kiwi, lime, and peach. It’s a bowlful of fruit and a mouthful of minerality and depth. It’s a gorgeous Sauvignon Blanc that you need to try!
2017 Eric Kent, Sonoma Coast Rosé (California, USA)| Kent Humphry's rockin' rosé - a blend of Pinot Noir, Syrah and Grenache - tastes like strawberry short cake with some sort of cinnamon and clove spice finish. Plus, the artwork on the label is just as beautiful as the wine!
2017 Olivier Sumeire, Le Rosé de S. Mediteranee (Provence, France) | Siblings Olivier and Sophie Sumiere have taken over their long running family business. Early evidence of the Sumeire family in Provence goes back as far as 1238! Their ‘Le Rosé de S.’ is a Provençal blend, light salmon-pink color with fresh citrus and stone fruit on the palate. Smells like fresh strawberries, and finishes dry and refreshing. Hello, Summer.
2015 Cantina Roccafiore 'Melograno' (Umbria, Italy) | We’ve just started selling our first wine from Cantina Roccafiore and couldn’t be happier! The Roccafiore Winery is located in the Todi area of Umbria and the Baccarelli family run this 18-year-old winery as well as an agriturismo and 90 hectares of organic crops. This Sangiovese and Montepulciano blend is your go-to-pizza wine. Earthy and full of red cherry and spice, the finish is smooth as an Italian riding a Vespa, talking on a cell phone, and blowing you a kiss…all at the same time.
