Gochujang is a fermented soy sauce made from red chili peppers and soybeans and an essential ingredient in Korean specialty dishes. Long-time Boston resident, Mary Rhei is owner and founder of Rhei-Maid, and grew up in a culinary family in Paterson, New Jersey. Her parents began to bottle their homemade sauces from Mary’s grandmother’s 50-year-old recipe. Today, Mary continues the family tradition by carefully overseeing the careful sourcing and foraging of ingredients, properly aging every batch, and her result is so delicious. Come taste the Rhei-Maid magic. See you Saturday!
